Following international pressure, confirmation has come from China that human rights lawyer Gao Zhisheng is alive. Gao, who defended house church leaders, was abducted by the authorities in 2009. The Voice of the Martyrs Canada partners Release International and China Aid along with Christian Solidarity Worldwide hosted a joint news conference in London to keep up the pressure on China. Bob Fu of China Aid spoke at the news conference. Several days later, news came that Gao was still alive. Release and its partners will keep up pressure on China to allow Gao to join his family in the US. Length 33:00 From Release International, Christian Solidarity Worldwide and China Aid [More] [Less]
